Ayala, Sivan, Asaf and Emi started the day by practising this performance called "Le tas" (the pile).
This performance comes from a practice that Comipok, Emi's collective in Paris, practice since some time now.The aim is to crawl down and up stairs as a human bowl, embracing the urban architecture.
This time we decided to practice it with hoodies on and in a collective way, meaning that we invited another couple to incarnate the creature with us.
Later on Borya join us to photograph the performance.
We went first in some stairs in the old city in the Jewish quarter.
A large, quiet, flat and shadowed stairs, perfect conditions.
We endded with a crowd of big guy applauding saying fu**** bulshi***.
We really enjoyed this first part.
After that we walked to Mamila, a new mall next to the old city.
So many people in the streets because of holidays ...
Guy from the No man's land Project came to documented it.
Mamila is located inside this part of land that used to be/ is (?) a no man's land in between east and west Jerusalem.
Here the stairs was much more depth and narrow.
But still we really enjoyed the new possibility of this new architecture.
We endded with a hudge crown down the stairs, watching with curiosity.
What a nice performance...
